OMN is a national award- winning student media organization where more than 400 students create TV shows, DJ on the radio, host and produce podcasts, break news, write, edit and shoot content for the newspaper and magazines, launch marketing campaigns and work with clients.
OMN strives to lead the college media field by elevating diverse student voices through innovative and accessible hands-on media and leadership experiences that challenge views, engage the community and celebrate resilience
This campus newspaper was founded in 1896. It covers local news and events and brings awareness to important student issues. “The Baro,” as it is affectionately called, also provides a platform for diverse views and opinions in the forum section. In 2017, Associated Collegiate Press awarded The Barometer a Pacemaker, the equivalent of a Pulitzer Prize in college media. Broaden your musical horizons. Every hour on 88.7 FM and online at OrangeMediaNetwork, more than 100 student DJs select new and unique music they want to play, or topics they want to talk about. KBVR-FM is an FCC-licensed non-commerical radio station that can be heard anywhere within a 30-mile radius of the OSU campus.

This team of students supports all of OMN's marketing and promotional needs. They work directly with OMN mediums on social media management, event planning, and marketing strategy. They manage the general OMN social media accounts, run OMN tabling activities, create marketing promotions plan, manage the photobooth and develop strategies to build awareness and engagement.
The engineering team helps support the broadcast, technology and event productions at OMN. Student engineers get hands-on with video and audio technology, learning the ins-and-outs of a broadcast facility, to help make the best use of the facility for student productions.
